Objective:
To understand the complexities of inter-connectedness, interrelationships and inter dependencies and resolving the issues involved from effective and efficient functioning of a system from a designer’s point of view.
The existing system for MIT Institute of Design's tuck system was not working the way it needs to be. Especially in post-COVID times, gatherings, long queues, 1 o'clock sunlight, mess, lack of coordination gave us a scope to redesign the whole system. We thought for a customer and user-centric approach by redesigning the physical access, serving, waiting, seating space and payment methods. This was done to encourage interaction & activities beyond eating, thereby improving the customer journey from the on-boarding to endgame.
